breathwork

Breath is the gateway between the brain, heart, and gut, the 3 brains. When your breath is both open and controlled, like a steady flowing river, you achieve your best success. We can consciously direct our breath or subconsciously let our breath direct us—the latter of which we do when we are living unawarely. Capture each moment to be in more flow.

tribe

Connection. Touch. Belonging. Abraham Maslow pointed these out as our basic human needs—ones that must be met before we can achieve self-actualization. In a world of technology and AI, we are more connected but less together than ever before; hence the name “The Loneliness Epidemic.” The healing way is to return to tribe—sisterhood, brotherhood, and family in all of it’s circles in society.

MOVEMENT

Movement is a basic human need which our bodies thrive on. It takes us beyond doubt and fear. There is an endless potential of ways to move and explore our world. Whichever way you choose, you are putting your fit foot forward.

meditation

An old zen proverb reads: you should meditate for 20 minutes a day-unless you are too busy; then you should meditate for an hour. Calmness is a superpower which you can cultivate by sweeping through your limiting beliefs, knee-jerk reflexes, and cognitive biases that get in the way of being your own hero or heroine. As you elevate your mental fitness, you elevate your entire life.

mindset

“Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space there is the power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom.” This is the great observation of psychiatrist and Holocaust-survivor Viktor Frankl. With breathwork and meditation, you can jar open the space between these two ends—thought and response, more and more, so you can intentionally choose the way you want to live.

NUTRITION

Nutrition is best approached with a zest for both taking care of our energetic needs and tickling our taste buds. It’s about fuel and pleasure. Nature's bounty provides us with essentially all of the ingredients we need to thrive, and thus, it is encouraged that we #eattherainbow. A dietary regimen based on a variety of earth-grown, nutrient-rich, plant-based whole foods and complimented by healthy fats and proteins is our recommendation.
